DESCRIPTION:Kiwassa Neighbourhood House is offering a MenTOR Program that will begin on February 24th from 7-9pm every Thursday for 15-20 weeks online via Zoom.\n\n\n \n\n\nAs part of their Family Violence Prevention work and in partnership with W.I.N.G.S (Women in Need of Gaining Strength)\, Kiwassa will be offering the MenTOR program for men who are looking to build healthier relationships.\n\n\n \n\n\nMenTOR is a curriculum-based support group. The movement began in Nova Scotia after young David Shepherd\, Travis Price and their teenage friends organized a high-school protest to wear pink in support of a young classmate who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Now we recognize this movement annually and show our support by wearing pink and practicing kindness in our everyday interactions.
