SUMMARY:Pink Shirt Day Contest
DESCRIPTION:Pink Shirt Day Contest! Create something that represents kindness to you. This could be a drawing or painting\, a card\, a song\, or even a dance. The contest will be open to participants ages 0-19 years.\n\n\n \n\n\nSend Fraser River Indigenous Society your entry with your name and age by February 18th at 4pm. The movement began in Nova Scotia after young David Shepherd\, Travis Price and their teenage friends organized a high-school protest to wear pink in support of a young classmate who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Now we recognize this movement annually and show our support by wearing pink and practicing kindness in our everyday interactions.
