I really loved it when Indigenous Elders visited the program and shared their knowledge and stories with us” says Ann\, a youth from Windermere Secondary. \nCome join a group of like-minded youth who are passionate about nature stewardship and recreation! Grow your personal health\, community health\, and East Vancouver’s ecological health! \nEnjoy weekly recreation outings. Go biking\, canoeing and trail walking at local and regional parks. Try indoor rock climbing and other active adventures. The movement began in Nova Scotia after young David Shepherd\, Travis Price and their teenage friends organized a high-school protest to wear pink in support of a young classmate who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Now we recognize this movement annually and show our support by wearing pink and practicing kindness in our everyday interactions.
