SUMMARY:Seed Generation Youth Program
DESCRIPTION:“The Seed Generation youth program was a safe place for me. I loved attending each week\, meeting new people and learning more about plants and wildlife. I really loved it when Indigenous Elders visited the program and shared their knowledge and stories with us” says Ann\, a youth from Windermere Secondary. \nCome join a group of like-minded youth who are passionate about nature stewardship and recreation! Grow your personal health\, community health\, and East Vancouver’s ecological health! \nEnjoy weekly recreation outings. Go biking\, canoeing and trail walking at local and regional parks. Try indoor rock climbing and other active adventures. Help lead active play programs for children at local schools and community centres. \nYouth participating in this 3 month program will gain 120 volunteer service hours that they can count as high school credits. \nYouth between ages 14-18 can register for our FREE program here: https://forms.gle/MabXHCiHoqwY3Yz3A \n*Snacks\, lunch and transportation or bus tickets provided \nOur outdoor program will follow BC Health Authority recommendations. \nThank you to Employment & Social Development Canada for making this program possible.

DESCRIPTION:Are you a youth who loves cooking? Registration is open for Teen’s Table!  \nIt is a FREE program offered by Youth Services in partnership with the Squamish Food Bank for youth ages 14-18 to learn how to cook\, share meals together\, and develop life skills! \nIn this program\, youth will be preparing intermediate-level recipes with the support of a chef.
