Vancouver is a vibrant city at a very exciting point in its history as it is about to host the 2010 Winter Olympics. The city is home to almost 600,000 people, but over 2.3 million people live in the Greater Vancouver area. It has one of the mildest climates in the country and offers a wide diversity or activities. Recreation abounds both in and outside of the city as the ocean and mountains are at our doorstep. In the city, there are plenty of arts, shopping, resturants and sports to keep all tastes happy.
